LHP Engineering Solutions is a global Functional Safety leader committed to creating safe transportation with developing technologies such as Electric Vehicles and Advance Driver Assistance Systems. At LHP we ensure Functional Safety and Cyber Security development of these systems and technologies by leveraging our core expertise with widely accepted standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO26262, ASPICE, ISO/SAE 21434.

We are expanding our team and seek a Software Engineer who will initially be based in Kennesaw, Georgia and will:

• Develop/Modify/enhance/test/support program based on business requirements and technical specs
• Involves leading the design and implementation of UI and network electronic system components for marine products, such as Multi-Functional Displays (MFD) and Ethernet
• Develop new features and products through software and network architecture design, with a strong understanding of software configuration and Hardware and Software Integration (HSI)
• Select and guide external resources, formulate and document software designs, and write documentation to communicate system architecture and requirements

Requirements

• BS in computer engineer, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering (or similar)
• 3-5 years of experience in UI design and network engineering (CAN, Ethernet, NMEA 2000/OneNet, WiFi, Bluetooth), especially in embedded software
• Strong in C/C++, HTML, network communication (CAN, RESTful API, WebSocket), UI design tools (like Figma), and containerization (like Docker)
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates is a plus
• Proficiency in network protocols and communication standards (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, USB, TCP/IP, UART, I2C, GPIO, Restful API)
• US Citizenship is required for this position by law, regulation, executive order or government contract.
